Stop & Stay gas spring
The Free Stop gas spring has the same build as standard gas springs. The main difference involves the piston, especially designed to make the rod go in and out with some friction. The friction between piston and body will prevent the spring (and therefore the door) from opening to the full automatically, so that the user can open and close the door gradually and stop it in any position. Body and rod have end fittings that allow to fix them. -
Self-Lock Gas Spring
Self locking gas spring is a device that achieves support and positioning through internal air pressure and mechanical locking structure. Its core function is to hover at any position and lock the load. When compressed or stretched by external forces, the internal gas (usually nitrogen) provides elastic buffering, and the built-in locking mechanism (such as pawl or valve) can instantly fix the piston rod after triggering, maintaining a stable support state; After unlocking, it can restore free expansion and contraction.

Safety Locking Shroud Gas Spring
Industrial Gas Springs offers safety locking, or safety shroud, gas springs that utilize a mechanical locking device to lock the gas spring in a fully extended position. They are available in most of our Volume Line gas spring sizes. This type of gas spring is best utilized in conjunction with a standard Volume Line gas spring of the same size and force.

Tension &Traction Gas Spring
Tension Gas Springs Also known as pull type and traction gas springs, these work opposite to extension gas springs. Similar to a screen door closer, they are used to assist in closing covers, gates, and doors. Tension springs can be configured to have ball socket end fittings with ball studs or eyelet type connections. We recommend the ball and socket connections for mounting as this allows for compensation for misalignment of the connection points.

Gas Spring Damper Custom
Dampers provide speed and motion control using hydraulic oil damping in either extension, compression, or both directions. Dampers look identical to a gas spring, so care is to be taken when specifying a spring versus a damper. The types of applications that dampers are most commonly used in are lids, doors, covers, or any other object that is needed to move at a controlled speed at a given force.

Custom Stainless Steel Gas Struts
Stainless steel gas spring is a mechanical device that uses internal compressed gas to generate elastic force, mainly used to support, buffer or control the movement of objects. It provides stable resistance or assistance through air pressure regulation, enabling equipment such as furniture, car tailgates, industrial machinery, etc. to smoothly rise and fall, slowly close, or maintain a fixed position. Stainless steel material gives it corrosion resistance, rust prevention, and durability, making it suitable for humid, high-temperature, or corrosive environments, ensuring long-term reliable operation.

Adjustable Locking Gas Springs
Controllable gas spring is a device that achieves controllable telescopic motion through internal gas and hydraulic oil. Its core function is to provide controllable support, buffering, positioning, and speed adjustment functions by adjusting damping or locking position. It can maintain stable support under different loads, absorb motion impacts, and lock at any position. At the same time, it can control the motion speed by adjusting the gas-liquid flow rate. It is widely used in fields such as automobiles, furniture, machinery, and aerospace, with precision, safety, and flexibility.

Application of Gas Springs in Motorcycle Seats
Gas spring is a device that uses gas pressure to provide support and buffering, widely used in various machinery and transportation vehicles. In recent years, the application of gas springs in motorcycle seats has gradually received attention and become an ideal choice for improving riding comfort and safety.
